 Our Process
|
Each Garment undergoes a six step process - Pre-Inspection
The garment is checked for soil and stains, damage and items left in the pockets. The zippers are closed, pockets are buttoned, lint and hair are removed and any minor damage which may become worse in the cleaning method is first reported to the customer than repaired if agreed upon. Finally, all items are sorted based on texture, color and fabric type.
- Pre-Spotting
Each garment is inspected for any stains or soils embedded in the fabric. Care label instructions are viewed, the garment is inspected for pre-existing problems (holes, tears, color loss or fading), and finally a decision is made as to which of the many cleaning programs the garment should undergo.
- Cleaning
Each garment undergoes a thorough cleaning process in which it enters our state of the art Italian designed Union Dry-Cleaning machine. This machine controls every element of the garment's environment inside of the machine. From temperature to various cleaning agents to spin speed.

Every garment that goes into the machine undergoes its own set of directions based on the type of fabric and how delicate it is. The system utilizes environmentally friendly detergents which not only freshen clothing items but also do not harm the surroundings. After the cleaning cycle has been completed, a drying cycle begins utilizing heat to dry the garments in order to remove all chemicals socked in the garments.
- Forming
After the cleaning step, each garment undergoes the forming process in which the garment is restored to its original factory form. Our forming equipment Made In United States is designed to integrate steam and different forming methods to form every clothing garment to its original form. Also during this step, dark garments are brushed to remove any lint which may have been accumulated from the cleaning process and wool coats and jackets are brushed to restore the factory feel.
- Pressing
In order to press garments, we use a large flat board with both vacuum and blowing capabilities. These ‘presses’ have the capability to completely flatten a pair of slacks and restore the store look of a new pair without leaving any creases in the fabric.
- Final Inspection
Finally, each garment is ready to be packed alone or with other garments from the same customer. Before this packing process occurs, each garment is sorted based on the customer. During this process, every garment undergoes one last thorough inspection for any creases, stains, or imperfections which may affect the look or feel of the garment while worn. If an imperfection such as a crease is found, the garment starts at step 5 (Pressing) again. If a stain is found, the garment begins at step 2 (Pre-Spotting). NOTE:We will always do our best on stains that the garment has incurred in the customers possession. Most of the time stains can be removed but there are cases where some stains may be irremovable and are permanent.
